Brief Introduction
Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat(or: Chopped Mat in short term) is a main adhesive-bonded fiber reinforced material of fiberglass. Meanwhile, it is reinforced material vastly used in the moulding process of fiberglass by hands and in some mechanical forming technology as well, such as RTM , binding, moulding, etc. The non-directional distribution of the chopped strand in the chopped mat is made up for the inadequacy of the check style, which only has transit distribution. In addition, it can improve the layer cutting strength of fiberglass products remarkably. It consists of powder or emulsion. Therefore, it can soak quickly and well.
The chopped mats are widely used in various fiberglass products, such as, chemical anticorrosivepipes, refrigerator carriages, car celling resisting and insulating materials, highstrength plastics, plastics, boats, sanitary utensils, chairs, flowerpots, constructing material, amusement instrument, statues, and so on. They have high strength and smooth appearance.
